Summary
Yatsuha is a woman in her twenties who works as a detective, primarily utilizing a hidden dagger in her line of work. On the surface, she poses as a young courtesan at a brothel, but in reality, she is partnered with Otawa to dismantle the establishment's counterfeiting ring. Shortly after encountering Mugen, her cover is blown, and she attempts to flee. However, Mugen, completely oblivious to the danger, insists on purchasing her services and single-handedly eliminates the assassins sent to stop them. Yatsuha makes repeated efforts to either persuade Mugen to leave or incapacitate him, resorting to striking him in the head and later in the groin under the pretext of spotting a naked woman. Since these measures fail to shake him, she resorts to manipulating him by promising sexual favors in exchange for his combat assistance. Together, they infiltrate the brothel’s basement and eliminate several guards. Yatsuha then kills Ginsa, the leader of the counterfeiting operation, motivated by his past connection to her father. Afterward, she renders Mugen unconscious to avoid honoring her promise. By the following morning, she admits to Otawa that she has fallen in love with Mugen and plans to marry him, a sentiment that leaves Otawa skeptical of her judgment in partners.
