Summary
Para, known by the kanji for labyrinth (Mei) in the manga and Japanese version, is the elder of the two Paradox Brothers. He and his sibling operate as a tag team, challenging the protagonists in both Yu-Gi-Oh! and Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. The brothers share a visual mark, with Para’s head bearing the first half of the kanji for "Labyrinth" and his brother’s head displaying the remainder. Maximillion Pegasus hired the pair to serve as Eliminators in the Duelist Kingdom tournament. They fight together, utilizing their "Labyrinth Wall" card to transform the battlefield into a complex underground maze, turning the duel into something more like a board game than a traditional card match. In this capacity, the duo is tasked with guarding the underground section of the island.
