Summary
Saito is a scientist in her late twenties employed at the island facility overseen by Chief Kakuzawa. Her duties involve conducting research on Mariko, with whom she communicates via loudspeakers. During these exchanges, Mariko consistently addresses Saito as Mommy. Additionally, Saito secretly works to erase any parental attachment Mariko might still feel toward her biological parents, Kurama and Hiromi.
