Mizumachi, Kengo
Summary
Mizumachi, Kengo is the third tallest member of his team and a naturally gifted athlete who once competed in swimming before quitting for being under-challenged. Wearing jersey number 71 as a Tackle and Defensive End, he leverages his height and the explosive speed of a swimmer’s start to dominate the line. He is notorious for making insensitive remarks and stripping down to his boxers, complaining that football gear is too heavy and hinders his movement. Initially dismissing Komusubi of Deimon as too short, Mizumachi learns to respect the strength in his small frame after being defeated by him. He also demonstrates an appreciation for the "true language of truly strong men" by responding positively to Komusubi’s post-game grunt of "HOT!" Despite his tough exterior, he enjoys swimming and openly admires the female bathers at the Kyoshin team’s onsen, claiming that peeking is the only proper way to enjoy a public bathhouse.
