Summary

Yuki Nagato is a reserved high school student who stands apart from the rest of the SOS Brigade, as she was not coerced or "voluntarily arrested" by Haruhi Suzumiya to join the club. While Haruhi seized an empty Literature Club room and claimed Yuki, who was found reading there, as part of the group, Yuki accepted this arrangement without objection. She resides alone in an apartment complex shared with Ryoko Asakura. Yuki typically wears glasses and her school uniform continuously, only removing her glasses after Kyon commented that she looked cuter without them and admitted he was not a "glasses man," and discarding her uniform solely during SOS Brigade vacations.
