Summary

Frederica Bernkastel is a character who has lived for over a millennium, with her birthday falling on August 21. She enjoys dried plum black tea, getemono, and spicy foods, while her primary dislikes include boredom. She is famously known as the Witch of Miracles, a title that reflects her residence in a world where abstract concepts like fate and probability can be visualized. Despite this cosmic setting, she possesses a twisted personality, referring to herself as the cruelest witch in the world. Her demeanor is marked by lifeless eyes, distinguishing her from other witches. She observes Beatrice's games primarily to alleviate her own boredom. However, unable to tolerate seeing the player suffer under Beatrice's torture, she intervenes to help the player by providing hints about the game's mechanics. Her "Magic of Miracles" enables her to reset desperate situations, provided there is a non-zero probability of a favorable outcome, a power similar to Hanyuu's ability to reset time. Frederica is driven by a desire to defeat Beatrice by any means necessary. Throughout Umineko no Naku Koro ni, she maintains an icy and aloof calm in most circumstances. However, by the end of Alliance of the Golden Witch and during Umineko no Naku Koro ni Chiru, she reveals herself to be just as impish and playfully cruel as Lambdadelta.
