Summary
Koutoku Ren served as the Second Emperor of the Kou Empire and was the second husband of the late Empress Gyokuen Ren. While little is known about his true personality, he was driven by a desire to strengthen his army and a craving for greater power. This ambition made him easily manipulable, allowing Gyokuen Ren to exploit their marital connection. Following Koutoku's death, she ascended to the position of Empress of the Kou Empire.
