Geroda, Gerozaimon
Summary
Originally one of the eight demons who served the Fuujin oni, Geroda was reincarnated as a frog, adopting the form of his host. He was the first demon dispatched to hunt Yaiba, engaging in several skirmishes before ultimately being defeated and captured. Shortly thereafter, the Snakeman demon attacked Yaiba’s group to eliminate the Frogman, deeming him useless. Due to his peaceful nature and lack of a place to return to, Gerozaimon was welcomed into Yaiba’s party following the confrontation with the Snakeman. In combat, he is a melee fighter who prefers body-slam techniques reminiscent of sumo, though he is also capable of wielding axes and using his tongue as a weapon when necessary.
