Etzali
Summary
Etzali is an Aztec magician who originally belonged to the organization Return of the Winged One. Tasked with monitoring the expanding influence of the Kamijou Faction within Academy City, he was dispatched to evaluate whether their growing power threatened the delicate equilibrium between the magic and science sides. He later became a member of GROUP after being defeated by Kamijou Touma. For his mission, Etzali typically assumed the appearance of Unabara Mitsuki, though his true form is that of a young man with dark skin and black wavy hair. As a senior member of the Aztec magical group, he held a higher rank than his fellow member Xochitl. About a month before August 31st, he was sent to Academy City to determine if the Kamijou Faction posed a danger to the world's balance. The radical actions of Kamijou Touma forced his organization to deploy Etzali against them. His operation commenced a week before August 31st when he abducted Unabara Mitsuki and took his identity. Etzali then targeted Mikoto with the specific goal of stealing her form to sow distrust among Kamijou and his peers. Although he claimed to be merely following orders, he admitted that he had genuinely fallen in love with Mikoto.
