Summary
Suzu is a fifteen-year-old with silver hair and reddish-brown eyes. He serves as a disciple and page to Yoshida, operating under the banner of Choshuu. His animosity toward the Shinsengumi stems from the loss of his older brother to their hands during his childhood. Yoshida manipulates this grief, convincing Suzu that he can avenge his sibling by becoming his apprentice and eliminating the Mibu Rōshiu. Suzu harbors a deep, sincere belief that Yoshida is fundamentally kind, despite the cruel and unforgiving demeanor he projects. He is blind to the reality that Yoshida actually delights in killing and lacks any genuine benevolence. Driven by extreme loyalty, Suzu is dedicated to pleasing his sensei and will do whatever is reasonable to satisfy him. His true allegiance lies with Yoshida rather than Choshuu, the faction he ostensibly represents.
