Summary
Yuugo Hachiken serves as the protagonist of Gin no Saji. He enters Ooezo High, an agricultural academy, with the primary intention of escaping his parents. Although he is diligent and smart, he finds his pride shaken by his inability to match the academic standing of peers who come from farming families. He joins the equestrian club hoping to get closer to Mikage Aki, whom he likes. Witnessing the determination of those around him, he realizes he lacks a personal objective and begins the process of searching for one.
