Synopsis

In "Silver Spoon," Yuugo Hachiken is a hardworking and exhausted student, always trying to meet impossible expectations from his parents. As a new school year begins, he transfers to Ooezo Agricultural High School, a boarding school set in rural Hokkaido, hoping to escape the stress he faces. Hachiken starts off confident in his own skills, but he quickly realizes his classmates have deep knowledge of farming and animals, since they grew up on farms. From chores at dawn to caring for livestock, Hachiken is completely lost in the tough world of agriculture. The story follows Hachiken's funny experiences as he adjusts to this strange place and meets various people. By working hard to fit in and find happiness, he tries to discover what he really wants and build a fulfilling life on his own terms.
