Summary
Kenzou Tenma is a skilled Japanese neurosurgeon employed at the Eisler Memorial Hospital in Düsseldorf. Initially, he enjoys the favor of the department director due to his exceptional surgical abilities. However, his career takes a sharp turn when he faces a moral dilemma and decides to save a young boy rather than the mayor, resulting in his unjust demotion. Weeks later, when the director and several other prominent physicians are murdered, Tenma becomes the prime suspect. The truth only comes to light nine years after the incident when he discovers that Johan Liebert, the child he saved, is the killer.
