Summary
Antares leads the bandits in Grape Valley on Titan and serves as a guardian to many children orphaned by the human-hunting Count Mecha. While the TV series portrayed him as stealing merely to support his own offspring, he harbors a deep hatred for machine people and technology in general. Antares directs Tetsuro to seek out the pirate Emeraldas if he wishes to locate Count Mecha's Time Castle, advising the young man to kill the Count without mercy. His body remains filled with numerous unexploded energy bullets that detonate at the most inconvenient times, such as right before he can warn Tetsuro about an important secret concerning Maeter.
