Summary
Hankichi Otawa first appears in Episode 15, titled "Bogus Booty." He is a young ninja serving the shogunate, distinguished by a highly distracting facial mole. Serving as an underground counterpart to Yatsuha, he was involved in the theft of forged koban prior to the main narrative, later discarding the gold in a river to present as evidence.
