Summary
Echidna is a former actress whose Tao ability, Gate, allows her to manifest portals between locations. These gates can transport people or enable her to extend body parts through them to strike from unexpected angles. Once a celebrated star of major films with numerous awards to her name, she now serves Creed with unwavering devotion, tolerating his psychopathic behavior without question. In the anime adaptation, her role diverges during the final Eden arc when she intercepts a fatal blow intended for Creed, a sacrifice that reveals the depth of her feelings to him. The series concludes with the pair living together in a quiet rural setting.
