Summary
As a detective in the Prague police force, Suk is driven by the quest to uncover the truth behind the death of his superior, Filip Zeman. Zeman had been probing the demise of the former headmaster of 511 Kinderheim, with Grimmer being a primary suspect. The situation complicates further when Suk reveals that Zeman was secretly collaborating with the former Czechoslovakian secret police. As a series of murders claims three additional officers, Suk himself becomes a person of interest. The police attempt to track his movements, resulting in the deaths of two more officers. Suk eventually secures a tape recorded by the former headmaster of 511 Kinderheim, but he suffers serious injuries from those desperate to acquire it. Amidst the chaos, he shares his thoughts with a beautiful blonde woman named Anna Liebert, whom he met at a bar, believing her to be a trusted confidant.
