Summary
Shichika serves as the current head of the Kyotou-ryuu style, having undergone rigorous training under his father, the previous head. His dedication to his craft is so profound that he possesses the strength to defeat challengers without even employing Kyotou-ryuu techniques, and over the years he has even developed new moves for the style. He holds a deep affection for his older sister, Nanami, who suffers from poor health, frequently performing her chores for her. Shichika is in love with Togame, a fact that grants her trust in him. Despite his confession, he lacks understanding of romantic dynamics, showing no signs of arousal when Togame is naked and failing to realize he should compliment her new attire. This innocence allows Togame to be completely open with him, which proves advantageous for their quest to collect the twelve deviant swords. Although he claims to be "bad at thinking," he is not naive and remains highly aware of his surroundings.
