Summary
Lurald is a puppet under the control of Leonof the Puppet Master. While his true identity remains largely unknown, it is believed he was once a human who was killed by Leonof and subsequently transformed into a puppet through the master's diabolical craftsmanship. Leonof employed Lurald as the leader of a small terrorist group, using him to test the limits of Vash during their confrontation. In the anime adaptation, however, Lurald serves as Leonof's primary puppet, distinguished by the existence of numerous copies.
