Toudou, Shizuka
Summary
As a wealthy heiress and a longtime friend of the F4, Shizuka shares a particularly deep bond with Rui, having been the first to help him open up and remaining inseparable from him throughout their youth. While she pursued a modeling career during high school, she stunned everyone at her twentieth birthday celebration by declaring her intention to abandon both her modeling work and her status as the Toudou heiress. Instead, she planned to relocate to Paris to train as a a human rights lawyer. In the live-action adaptation, she served as the primary inspiration that motivated Makino to enroll at Eitoku and later to follow a path in law. Rui initially traveled to Paris alongside Shizuka at Tsukushi’s behest, but their connection deteriorated as Shizuka became increasingly absorbed in her demanding job. Frustrated by the distance, Rui eventually returned to Japan. Shizuka stayed in Paris, where she married a lawyer and passed her bridal bouquet to Tsukushi.
