Zhang, Taiyan
Seiyuu / Dub
Summary
Serving as the second-in-command of the Hóng Huá Huì, Taiyan projects a relaxed demeanor that belies his capacity for extreme destruction when provoked. His combat style relies on lethal cutting and slicing techniques executed with his bare hands. Infamous for his insatiable sexual appetites, he earned the moniker "Bride Thief" due to his habit of murdering grooms and abducting their brides. He was responsible for assassinating Charles de Guise’s younger sister using a time bomb. Driven by a misunderstanding, Taiyan believed his stepfather, Zhāng Dà-Yán, was responsible for his mother’s death and harbored a deep desire for revenge. Upon discovering the truth, he sought redemption for his past atrocities, with de Guise agreeing to withhold retaliation for the time being. Taiyan ultimately succeeded in becoming the new Master of Hokuto Sōkaken after defeating Zhāng Dà-Yán in a decisive battle, thereby securing his father’s approval.
