Summary
Accompanying Denim and Slender on a reconnaissance mission in Side 7, Gene impulsively chose to launch a reckless frontal assault against the Earth Federation forces. During the ensuing battle, Amuro Ray piloted the RX-78-2 Gundam to engage Gene directly. Struck by the overwhelming power of the Gundam, Gene attempted to retreat, but his Zaku was sliced in half by Amuro’s Beam Saber, resulting in the mobile suit exploding with Gene still trapped inside.
