Summary
Dr. Oppenheim serves as the Chief of Surgery and acts as Tenma’s direct superior, relaying the director’s orders to the other medical staff. Driven by greed, he aligns himself with the majority of the director’s proposals. He viewed Johan Liebert’s surgery as a financial drain that unnecessarily harmed the hospital’s fiscal health, pushing Tenma to perform the operation on Mayor Roedecker instead.
