Summary
Once a standout pitcher, Yoshida struggled to maintain his status as a professional athlete. He entered into a clandestine agreement with an opposing team to manipulate their batting performance against him, a scheme that was actually orchestrated by Saikawa. Consequently, Yoshida found himself subservient to Saikawa, acting as his subordinate and executing orders to undermine Toua. However, after being moved by Toua’s assertion that even a slim probability is not zero, Yoshida departed the team. He traveled to America to undergo retraining and attempt to revive his baseball career.
