Imakurusu, Hisashi
Summary
Imakurusu Hisashi, a 58-year-old doctor standing 173 cm tall and weighing 65 kg, found himself in a deeply ironic situation. Suffering from the final stages of cyberbrain sclerosis, he was kept alive by the Murai vaccine—a treatment he had personally denied approval for and worked tirelessly to keep from the public. He was not alone in this; countless other well-known public servants relied on the same vaccine. Imakurusu had dedicated his life to finding a cure for cyberbrain sclerosis, only to be unexpectedly usurped by Murai. While he privately admitted he would have approved the vaccine if Murai had discovered why it worked, the Laughing Man believed that greed and jealousy drove Imakurusu to suppress it. The existence of a custom-crafted 'approval denied' stamp supports this theory.
