Summary
Pei Xiu serves as a Heavenly Official within the Middle Court, operating under the authority of an unnamed superior while making his debut during the initial arc of the narrative. Initially presented as a proud and composed young man, he approaches his duties as a Martial God with serious dedication, displaying a notably stoic demeanor. As the plot unfolds, however, his rigid exterior begins to crack, revealing a more playful side that becomes particularly evident after he suffers from food poisoning caused by Xie Lian. Despite the severe effects of the poison leaving him nearly speechless, he remains determined and insists on continuing his fight. He harbors deep respect and admiration for Pei Ming, while maintaining a friendly rapport with Ban Yue and Xie Lian.
