Summary
Maruo Eiichirou is a fifteen-year-old tennis player best known for his distinctive rooster hair, a feature that earns him that specific nickname from his peers. A diligent student with perfectionist tendencies, he holds the moniker "Ei-chan" due to his consistent record of straight A’s on exams. Despite his academic excellence, Maruo suffers from a lack of physical fitness, which leads him to join the Southern Tennis Club, frequently abbreviated as STC. Initially, he appears as a naive beginner struggling to grasp the fundamentals and catch up with more experienced players. Additionally, he harbors romantic feelings for Takasaki Natsu, affectionately referred to as Natchan, who is both his schoolmate and fellow member of the club.
