Summary
Kohaku is a clumsy angel who travels to Earth seeking Hisui, the Angel Master. After becoming stuck in a tree and being attacked by a crow, Kohaku is saved by Shuuichirou, a compassionate young doctor. Feeling obligated to grant him a single wish, Kohaku discovers that Shuuichirou is content with his life and cannot think of a request. Consequently, Kohaku stays by his side to find another way to repay him, often finding themselves in difficult predicaments because of this decision. Angels and demons lack human gender, so referring to Kohaku as he or she is technically incorrect, although the English manga adaptation assigned female pronouns.
