Summary
Pastoll served as a vice admiral and commanded the Free Planets Alliance 4th Fleet during the Battle of Astarte. An experienced veteran of over one hundred battles, he was a close friend of Vice Admiral Paeta, who led the Alliance's 2nd Fleet. His life ended in action when Imperial Fleet Commander Reinhard von Lohengramm executed a blitzkrieg assault, catching the Alliance forces before they could establish their defenses.
