Summary
Kei Enjoji serves as the protagonist of Kizuna. Born in Kyoto on February 27 with type A blood, he stands 5.8 feet tall and weighs 143 pounds. As the illegitimate son of a yakuza group chief, he is forced to leave the family estate. During his departure, he encounters Ranmaru and quickly falls in love with him. Although he lacks legal standing, a rival gang attempts to assassinate him, an attack that nearly results in Ranmaru’s death. Believing he will never walk again, Ranmaru is convinced otherwise by Kei, who vows to act as his limbs out of deep affection. Motivated by this love, Ranmaru undergoes rigorous rehabilitation and eventually regains the ability to walk, marking the beginning of their romantic relationship. Later, Kei reunites with his younger brother, Kai, who is the legitimate heir. While Kai initially harbors feelings for Ranmaru, he eventually accepts the situation upon witnessing the genuine love between Kei and Ranmaru.
