Summary
Souta is the younger brother of Kyouko. Due to their parents' demanding work schedules, Kyouko has raised him since birth, leading Souta to view her as a maternal figure. Early in the narrative, he is returned to the Hori home by Izumi after collapsing on the street. This event sparks a deep affection for Izumi, who Souta regards as an adopted sibling.
