Summary
Takashi is a loving and diligent man who maintains a stable family life despite the financial struggles faced by his wife, Samejima, who works in marketing and civil service. Unlike his more serious wife and children, he is expressive and deeply involved in their daily lives. Although he is not as intellectually gifted as his daughter Shizuku, he possesses a keen intuition that allows him to notice subtle cues in her behavior. Having endured repeated insults from Yoshino, who labels him as a fool and useless, he playfully accepts this characterization.
