Summary
Minnie-May Hopkins, known affectionately as May, is a petite young woman standing at 146cm who was initially 17 years old, though she reaches 19 by Chapter 23. Before entering the world of explosives and detective work, she worked as an underage prostitute in a brothel located in Chicago's China Town. Her path changed when Rally Vincent hired her as an assistant at the Gunsmith Cat Gunshop, drawn to May's iron resolve, impressive demeanor with customers, and innate talent for handling explosives. Under the mentorship of Ken Taki, a special effects expert and infamous bomb maker who is also a former mob hitman turned straight-laced criminal, May mastered her craft. She possesses the unique ability to conceal armed explosives within almost any object, making her just as skilled at detecting and disarming bombs placed by others. May typically carries a diverse array of hidden weaponry on her person, ranging from harmless smokebombs to deadly fragmentation grenades.
