GUN SMITH CATS
GunSmith Cats
In the dangerous streets of Chicago, Rally Vincent runs a gun shop called GunSmith Cats and works as a bounty hunter on the wrong side of the law. With exceptional shooting abilities and driving skills that rival Hollywood chase scenes, Rally navigates a world filled with ruthless gangsters and powerful enemies with personal vendettas, putting her life constantly at risk. Every mission tests her limits, but it is the moral dilemmas that challenge her ethical principles. Rally isn’t alone in this high-stakes environment. She has a team of loyal companions, such as Minnie-May Hopkins, a bomb expert whose turbulent past contrasts sharply with her vivacious personality and sharp humor. Minnie-May complements the more stoic Rally well. Alongside trusted allies like Becky and Roy, their relationships extend beyond professional ties, providing Rally a stable foundation in a world where any mistake could be fatal. Beyond its adrenaline-pumping action and intense combat sequences, GunSmith Cats delves deeply into firearms and muscle cars, depicted with meticulous precision and diversity. Kenichi Sonoda crafts a compelling story of crime and allegiance, blending thrilling action reminiscent of iconic action films with a poignant exploration of moral ambiguity. In a realm where the line between right and wrong blurs, Rally must rely on her instincts—and the people she trusts—to survive.

Background
GunSmith Cats received a 4 volume aizouban reprint from July 22, 2005 and October 21, 2005. The series was published in English by Dark Horse; initially in individual monthly chapter issues from May 1, 1995 to August 15, 2001, in 9 volumes from October 1, 1996 to February 13, 2002, and in 4 omnibus volumes following the aizouban reprint from March 14, 2007 to December 19, 2007. The series also began serialization in the British magazine Manga Mafia starting September 1996. The Dark Horse release retained the original Japanese right to left reading format, and removed certain scenes with sexual content with the approval of Kenichi Sonoda.
