Vasilisa
Seiyuu / Dub
Summary
Vasilisa serves as Sasha’s superior and the leader of Annihilatus. Named after a heroine of Russian Folklore, she is generally disliked by Sasha, who finds her childish behavior, vanity regarding skin care, and awkward attempts to introduce Japanese otaku culture to be annoying. Despite this friction, Vasilisa possesses immense power, demonstrated when she effortlessly withstood a swing from one of Sasha’s implements that shattered a table, an event that occurred while Vasilisa was trying to force Sasha into a "Magical Powered Kanamin" cosplay. When the Russian Orthodox Church ordered her to hand Sasha over to Fiamma, Vasilisa chose to betray the Church to stay with "her" Sasha. Revealed in Volume 22 as an immortal witch who supposedly sacrificed her mother and elder sister for power, her true nature aligns with the folklore version of a witch that devours humans, leaving victims with only the choice to flee or be eaten. She wields the "Water of Death," which melts flesh down to the bone, and the "Water of Life," which grants immortality. As the strongest spellcaster in the Russian Orthodox Church to date, she defeated all assassins sent after her without sustaining any injuries. She even overcame Bishop Nikolai, who used the "Water of Death" on her in an attempt to replicate a folklore tale where the witch fell into the spring that created the water; however, the attack backfired because Vasilisa possessed the "Water of Life," which allowed her to heal the injuries instantly as if they had never happened.
