Summary
Shouryuu serves as the ruler of En and, much like Youko, is a taika originating from feudal Japan roughly five centuries ago. Initially the head of a clan that was subsequently destroyed, he was appointed by Enki to govern the kingdom. Although En was in a dire state when he assumed power, his five-hundred-year reign has transformed it into a tranquil and thriving nation. Shouryuu supported Youko by supplying the military forces she needed to reclaim Kei and rescue Keiki. As a fellow taika, he believes it is his duty to guide Youko through the challenges of her new existence.
