Majin Buu
Summary
Majin Buu appears in the Buu Saga as a seemingly innocent, pudgy pink genie-like creature. His true original form, however, is a sleeker child known as the Buu of Pure Evil. His current nature and appearance were altered after he assimilated the gentle, pudgy Dai kaioshin into his body. Originally created by the wizard Bibbidi to wage war on the Kaioshin, Buu had already killed the third Kaioshin before absorbing the second one, who softened his disposition. Following Bibbidi’s sealing of Buu, the wizard was killed by the fourth Kaioshin, and Buu remained dormant on Earth for five million years until revived by Bibbidi’s son, Babbidi. Upon emerging from his shell, Buu is tall and round with a naive personality. He kills Babbidi but soon befriends the human Mr. Satan and a puppy he heals, naming the dog Bee. However, gunmen destroy his home and attack his friends, triggering his rage and giving birth to the Buu of Pure Wrath. After absorbing this wrathful counterpart, he becomes Super Buu, who hunts down Piccolo and Gotenks. Following the absorption of Son Gohan, Buu confronts Vegetto, who forces him to expel all absorbed beings, including Good Buu. This reverts Buu to his purest state, the Buu of Pure Evil, also known as Kid Buu. Ultimately, Son Goku, Majin Buu, and Vegeta defeat him.
