Summary
Isaac Kitching first appears in episode 6, titled "Stranger Searching." He asserts that he is Japanese, despite his accent and blue eyes contradicting this claim. He introduces himself to Mugen, Jin, and Fuu as "Jouji" and proposes a deal: he will return Jin's sword in exchange for a tour of Edo. Although Jin accepts the offer, it quickly becomes evident that Isaac possesses a deeper knowledge of the city than all the other characters combined.
