Yakou Hikoichi appears as a character in the manga Usogui, serving as Referee #2 for Club Kakerou. Sharing the distinction of being one of the oldest referees in Kakerou alongside Nowa Mitoshi, he is specifically assigned as Madarame Baku's exclusive referee. Beyond his duties presiding over games, he is highly skilled in collecting debts, a role that has earned him the nickname "Debt Collector." He also has a twin brother named Yakou Jouichi.
