Nagakura, Shinpachi
Summary
Serving as the second unit captain of the Shinsengumi, Nagakura Shinpachi introduces himself to Tetsu as "Sanosuke's keeper." Much like Tetsu, he is frequently underestimated due to his short stature and youthful appearance, which makes him look like a child despite actually being in his twenties. Beneath this deceptive exterior lies exceptional combat prowess; he is an extremely skilled swordsman whose abilities rival those of Okita Soji. Additionally, he possesses a playful personality and enjoys being a joker, a trait that is particularly evident in his interactions with Sanosuke and Heisuke.
