Summary
Minami Terano, also known as South, is a tall and muscular individual with slight foreign features who significantly dwarfs his companions. He has blond hair, typically kept in a bun, and piercing yellow round eyes that contribute to his intimidating demeanor. A wide, prominent grin is often seen on his face. He bears a Brazilian tribal tattoo design on the rightmost side of his chest that extends up to his neck, along with a gunshot wound on the left. While he most often wears the traditional Rokuhara Tandai uniform, he habitually goes shirtless from time to time. At five years old, South had an average height and slender build, with platinum clean-cut hair, and he walked around barefoot. As he grew, he distinctly gained more muscle. He shaved his hair at twelve years old but eventually grew it out to a relatively short length. South is highly confident in himself due to his belief in his overwhelming strength. He has a short temper and tends to violently lash out at anyone who provokes him, regardless of who they are. Along with this temperamental attitude, South displays obstructive behavior. He became a misled child due to his savage upbringing in the impoverished sector of Rio de Janeiro, his hometown, which caused him to be blinded by his prideful personality. Although South seemingly had a normal childhood for a short amount of time, he still became an unreasonably cruel individual. He enjoyed inflicting pain on others for irrational reasons and constantly exhibited a superiority complex toward his peers. For these reasons, South had no qualms about killing at all.
