Summary

Minami Shimada is a female high school student in her second year at Fumizuki Gakuen, attending Class F alongside Akihisa since their first year. Born in Germany, she later returned to Japan and is currently between the ages of sixteen and seventeen. Standing at 156 cm with a slender, model-like physique featuring long legs and a flat chest, she is easily recognized by her sharp eyes and ponytail. Minami exhibits classic tsundere traits, characterized by a wild and strong demeanor that manifests as frequent physical aggression toward Akihisa. She claims her hobby is beating him up, using excessive violence to curb his foolish actions, which has led Akihisa to view her as his natural enemy. Despite this harsh exterior, her hostility is a reverse display of her special feelings for him. She takes the rumor of Akihisa’s supposed attraction to boys quite seriously, showing opposition to figures like Hideyoshi and Yuuji, yet she fails to notice her true rival, Mizuki, or Akihisa’s growing friendliness. During the first Summon War against Class D, she managed to threaten Akihisa into calling her by her first name, "Minami," and allowed herself to call him "Aki." Her academic performance is a paradox; while her intellect is comparable to that of Class-B students, her inability to read Kanji due to her German upbringing results in low grades, particularly in Classic Literature, where she receives single-digit marks. Conversely, she excels in mathematics, which requires less reliance on Kanji. Her parents are often away for work, leaving her to live alone and become proficient at cooking, though her confidence wavered slightly after discovering Akihisa’s own culinary skills. She also enjoys collecting rag dolls. Surprisingly, her inner self is quite girly, evidenced by a framed photo of Akihisa in her room. Despite this, she initially struggles to acknowledge her own romantic feelings, unable to even fake affection. However, after mistakenly receiving a confession SMS from Akihisa, she becomes honest with her emotions, boldly stealing his first kiss in front of Mizuki. Once she realizes Akihisa views her as a girl, her feelings for him solidify. Minami is ranked third on Fumizuki Gakuen’s list of "Girls I would hate to have as a girlfriend," a result of her harsh attitude toward Akihisa. Her shoukanjuu, an occult version of the Nurikabe wall monster, is influenced by her association with the concept of a wall and her flat chest. It is equipped with a military outfit and a sabre.
