Summary
Miki Koishikawa is an energetic student at Toryo High School where she plays on the tennis team. She possesses a cheerful, friendly, and supportive nature, often displaying an outspoken and tomboyish demeanor alongside a good heart. However, she also struggles with insecurity, whininess, and clinginess, showing significant emotional dependency on those around her. For income, Miki holds a part-time position at an ice cream shop named Bobson's before later taking a job at a small decoration store. During her junior high years, Miki confessed her feelings to a male friend named Ginta, which resulted in a disastrous outcome that left her heartbroken. Despite the shock to their friendship, she eventually recovered and managed to reestablish their bond as friends. In high school, her family dynamic shifted when her parents traveled to Hawaii and arranged a spouse swap with another couple. The two families merged, moving into a large house together. This arrangement introduced Miki to Yuu Matsuura, the son of the other couple, who was her age. As they grew closer, Miki found herself falling in love with Yuu. Yet, she remained plagued by self-doubt and jealousy, particularly because Yuu was constantly surrounded by numerous beautiful girls, whereas Miki viewed herself as only average-looking.
