Summary
Hailing from Okinawa, Yamazaki, Hiromi serves as the towering member of Section 2 Division 2 Team 1. Though he possesses a gentle demeanor and a kind heart, his initial dream of following in his father’s footsteps as a fisherman was thwarted by his severe susceptibility to seasickness. He subsequently pursued a career in law enforcement, eventually transferring to SV.2. Due to his massive physique, which prevents him from fitting into the cockpit of a Labor, Yamazaki is assigned the role of carrier driver for Unit 1. In his downtime, he can be found tending to SV.2’s vegetable garden, showcasing his impressive horticultural skills. His immense physical strength is notably displayed in Movie 1 and Movie 2, where he operates a massive anti-labor rifle, reportedly an M82 anti-material rifle, borrowed from the Narashino Parachute Labor team.
