Summary
In the Rave series, Plue serves as the bearer of the Rave Stone and acts as a loyal companion to the Rave Warriors. This stout, white creature stands only three feet tall, resembling a snowman with a disproportionately large, rounded head and a horn-like nose that looks like a carrot. He exhibits canine traits, such as walking on all fours and communicating in monosyllabic sounds. Plue’s physiology is unique; his nose deflates when he is hungry, and his entire body wrinkles and eventually decompresses if he overheats. Despite this fragility, his nose is incredibly hard, capable of piercing through various materials, including human flesh and Dark Brings. He has a strong affection for lollipops and can only say the word "puun," which Griffon Kato understands. Easily distracted by trivial matters like chasing insects or falling asleep randomly, Plue still shows bravery in battle by throwing stones or offering lollipops to enemies. He is extremely loyal, even sacrificing himself to protect Shiba Roses from the Overdrive, though he is known to cry easily. In Fairy Tail, Plue appears as a Silver Key Celestial Spirit who lacks combat abilities, making him suitable as a pet for less powerful Mages like his owner, Lucy. Originally sold for 20,000 Jewels, he functions primarily as a cute companion rather than a fighter. He is highly obedient and always ready to assist Lucy. Plue enjoys sweets and shares a close friendship with Happy, often teasing Lucy and Loke alongside him. He is also very apologetic, as evidenced when he immediately apologized to Lucy after harming her while under the influence of Sherry's Magic.
