Summary
Nile is one of the Advena Avis immortals, notably saving Sylvie from Szilard on the Advenna Avis. After attaining immortality, he traveled to various battlefields to keep the meaning of death in mind, but instead became desensitized to it. Easily provoked into violence, he frequently begins his sentences with the phrase "I say this." He wears a facial mask, claiming it prevents him from being accidentally devoured and dying in an ignoble fashion. In 2001, Nile joined Maiza, Czeslaw, and Sylvie on their search for Elmer in a strange European village. Later, he assisted Sylvie and Elmer in searching for Denkuro in Japan, where they received an invitation from Huey to board a cruise ship bound for the United States.
