Summary
Yuuichi Katagiri initially presents himself as a diligent and cheerful student who strives to earn his place on a school field trip alongside his peers. He places immense value on his friendships, demonstrating kindness and a readiness for self-sacrifice to protect them. In a dramatic gesture to preserve unity, he even labels himself a traitor to stop internal conflict. However, Yuuichi’s nature darkens significantly as the narrative progresses. He exhibits a sinister side, displaying little remorse for his deceitful schemes and revealing a sadistic streak that finds pleasure in the suffering of others.
