Summary
Despite his intelligence, Sergeant Murasaki, referred to as Sergeant Purple in the Viz manga, is ultimately defeated by Goku following a lengthy and somewhat absurd battle. Murasaki employs various ninja techniques, which Goku counters with his own eccentric methods. Even when Murasaki utilizes a ruse involving five identical brothers, with him being the eldest, Goku manages to overcome them. Following the combat, he attempts to coerce Android 8 into attacking Goku under threat of destroying the android. However, Android 8 refuses, leading Goku to knock out Murasaki before he can act. In an anime filler sequence, Murasaki later targets Dr. Frappe and Android 8, but is presumably killed when Goku accidentally tosses a bomb from Android 8 onto his cheek.
