Summary
Lotton, known as "The Wizard," is a mysterious bounty hunter tasked with capturing "Greenback" Jane. He is characterized by his gray hair, black trench coat, shaded glasses, and a soft-spoken demeanor. His preferred weapon consists of one or more Mauser C96 pistols equipped with extended magazines, though it remains unclear whether these are genuine firearms or foreign imitations. Lotton abstains from alcohol, asserting that it causes him to vomit. During his attempt to make a dramatic entrance, he is shot by Revy. While he appears to be more of a poser than a formidable combatant, he survives a fall from a warehouse roof thanks to his Kevlar vest, leaving his true capabilities uncertain. He is among the few bounty hunters to survive the manhunt for Jane. When the conflict moves to the sea, he rises to assist the severely injured Shenhua and Sawyer. This act of mercy leads Shenhua to remark that he lacks the ruthlessness for killing and would be better suited as a host in a bordello, to which Lotton replies that he is too clumsy for such a role.
