Summary
Tomio Ookawa runs the local liquor store and is known for his intimidating presence and strict, iron-fisted discipline toward his son. He holds fast to the village's unwritten traditional rules, such as the expectation that newcomers must greet their neighbors. However, he grows increasingly irritated as the Shiki begin to infiltrate the area, causing many of Sotoba's customary norms to be unnaturally twisted and disregarded.
